After two amazing days, Art Brussels 2025 continues this weekend! If you haven’t visited yet, this is your chance to experience the 41st edition of the fair, featuring 165 galleries from 35 countries and showcasing more than 800 artists across our five sections: Prime, Solo, Discovery, '68 Forward, and Invited.
Come and immerse yourself in a vibrant artistic atmosphere, explore captivating contemporary artworks, and discover exciting events and artistic projects throughout Halls 5 & 6 of Brussels Expo, from 11 am to 7 pm today and Sunday 27 April 2025.
Art Brussels 2025 | Opening Day
We were thrilled to kick off the 41st edition of Art Brussels this Tursday 24 April at Brussels Expo. The opening day brought together collectors, curators, and art lovers for a vibrant celebration of contemporary art.
This year’s edition features 165 galleries from 35 countries, showcasing a diverse array of emerging and established artists.

Art Brussels 2025 | NF Nieves Fernández
We had the pleasure of interviewing Neria Fernández, Co-Director and Co-Founder of NF Nieves Fernández in Madrid. While the gallery’s current program was launched in 2011, it builds on the legacy of the original space founded by Neria Fernández’s parents in 1977.
In this video, Fernández shares insights into the gallery’s program and its second participation at Art Brussels. Showcasing four artists from different countries, their booth explores the possibilities of 21st-century painting and our relationship with the urban environment.

Art Brussels 2025 | ANDERSEN’S
We had the pleasure of speaking with Claus Andersen, founder and director of ANDERSEN’S in Copenhagen. Established in 2005, the gallery evolved from Andersen’s Wohnung in Berlin—a space initiated in 1997 as a platform for artistic dialogue. Over the past thirty years, Andersen’s has played a pivotal role in shaping Copenhagen’s contemporary art scene. In this interview, Claus Andersen reflects on the gallery’s unique origins, shares his perspective on Brussels’ vibrant art landscape, and gives us a glimpse into their participation in Art Brussels. Art Brussels 2025 | TheMerode
Two weeks ago, Nele Verhaeren, Managing Director of Art Brussels, joined a panel at our partner club TheMerode to discuss 'The Power of Art Prizes' and how they shape artists' careers. Panelists included Belgian artist Koen van den Broek, first winner of the Art Brussels Solo Prize (2008); Patricia De Peuter, Vice-President of the Belgian Art Prize; Belgo-Lebanese artist Marie Zolamian, recent recipient of the first Pomona Art Fund grant; and @WIELS Chief Curator Helena Kritis, who moderated the discussion.
At Art Brussels 2025, we’re excited to introduce an enhanced vision for two major awards: The Solo Prize, supported by TheMerode, now increases its prize money to €15,000. The Discovery Prize evolves into the Discovery Acquisition Prize, supported by Moleskine, with an expanded €10,000 acquisition budget for museum collections.

Art Brussels 2024 | Celebrating the 40th Edition
This was the 40th edition of Art Brussels, which took place last April from the 25th to the 28th. The fair was a great success, welcoming 177 galleries, numerous partners and 26,000 visitors! Thank you for being part of this milestone edition. We look forward to welcoming you next year for the 41st edition, which will take place from 24 to 27 April 2025 at the Brussels Expo.

Art Brussels 2024 | KIN
We had the chance to interview Inès-Gabriel.le Tourlet Ordoñez and Nicolaus Schafhausen from KIN, a new gallery in the heart of Brussels, Rue Ravenstein. KIN stands for Kinship, and as such the gallery is based on a network of artists with whom Nicolaus has been working for many years. In this video, Inès-Gabriel.le and Nicolaus invite us to discover the gallery space and talk about Liam Gillicks’ exhibition and their first presence at the fair in the INVITED section. Art Brussels 2023│Greta Meert
Step into Galerie Great Meert to experience the current solo exhibition by Pieter Vermeersch, commented by gallery director Kim Rothuys. He also mentions the upcoming debut exhibition of David Claerbout and Magali Reus (whose work will be on display at the fair) at the gallery at the end of this year and in 2024. The exhibition by Pieter Vermeersch will be on view until 23 April at the gallery. You will also be able to find the gallery in the PRIME section of the fair.
Art Brussels 2023 | AKINCI
Step into the world of AKINCI with co-owner Renan Beunan, who opened the gallery's door to discuss their participation at Art Brussels in the DISCOVERY section with artist melanie bonajo. melanie bonajo with AKINCI will offer a glimpse into their project "When the body says yes" that was initiated at the Venice Biennale in 2022, with a presentation of three photographs arranged around a video. Viewers will be invited to immerse themselves in the experience by sitting on specially composed seats that the artist has made in collaboration with Théo Demans. melanie bonajo has also an institutional show at the FOMU in Antwerp which is part of our OFF Programme. This exhibition in on view until 04 June 2023. Join us for the new edition of Art Brussels taking place from 20 to 23 April 2023.
Art Brussels 2023 | Eva Jospin & Julien Bouharis
Discover French artist Eva Jospin in conversation with Julien Bouharis (co-director of Galerie Suzanne Tarasieve) in her studio in Paris as they talk about her practice, her future projects and her history with the gallery. Furthermore, Eva Jospin will be present at Art Brussels 2023 with Galerie Suzanne Tarasieve in the PRIME section of the fair. She is also part of our artistic projects as a invited artist for the Ruinart Carte Blanche. Jospin will also have an exhibition – part of our OFF programme – at the Fondation Thalie, curated by Nathalie Guiot, which will open in Brussels just before the fair, on Saturday 15 April.

The 38th edition of Art Brussels already happened a couple of weeks ago and we are happy to share with you glimpses of how it went! Art Brussels is one of Europe’s most original and established art fairs, it took place between Thursday 28 April and Sunday 1 May 2022 at Tour & Taxis in Brussels, Belgium. Gathering 157 galleries from 26 countries, the fair brought a strong and international line up and a unique mix of established artists and emerging talent. With an increase in SOLO gallery presentations, Art Brussels continues to be highly curated and more appealing than ever. Once again we would like to thank the galleries, artists, ambassadors, and our partners for their participation. Save the date for Art Brussels 2023 which will happen Thursday 20-23 April at Brussels Expo.
