In the Solo section, galleries present focused, project-based exhibitions that allow visitors to delve deeply into an artist’s practice. From established names to mid-career talents, this section showcases individual artistic voices with clarity and depth. The Solo Prize, awarded by a professional jury, recognizes the most compelling presentation and includes a cash award of €15,000 to the winning artist.

Originally awarded to the best booth in the Discovery section, the Discovery Prize has evolved to better support the institutional presentation of emerging art. Rather than being awarded directly to a gallery, the prize now takes the form of an acquisition budget of up to €10,000 for the purchase of an artwork from the Discovery section for a museum collection. This new format reinforces the fair’s commitment to integrating emerging talent into important public collections.

The Invited section highlights young and upcoming galleries making bold moves in the art market—often through unconventional formats, curatorial innovation, or by challenging the traditional gallery model. Participation is by invitation only. The Invited Prize is awarded to the most outstanding booth in this section and comes with a €5,000 voucher toward guaranteed participation in Art Brussels 2026.

A tribute to the fair’s founding year, the ’68 Forward section is dedicated to artistic movements that push boundaries and embrace experimentation. It provides a platform for both celebrated artists and those who have remained under the radar. The ’68 Forward Prize awards €5,000 to the best booth in this section, recognizing a gallery for its curatorial excellence and contribution to this vibrant field of contemporary art.
