Galerie Zwart Huis, founded in 2001 in Knokke, is now a Brussels-based gallery focusing on contemporary Belgian art, with an emphasis on figurative painting and drawing, alongside conceptual art, sculpture and photography. Directed by Elke Helbig since 2015, the gallery represents both established and emerging Belgian artists, including Nils Verkaeren, Robin Vermeersch, Stefan Peters, Fik van Gestel, Stief DeSmet and Colin Waeghe.
