Founded in 2006 in Rome, near Colosseum, In March 2024, the gallery moved to its new 150-square-meter venue in with an industrial feel, situated in Testaccio, one of Rome’s most historic and characteristic neighborhoods. The gallery focuses on artistic experimentation and research, with an annual program of exhibitions that explore global and cultural processes, emphasizing identity, anthropology, and nature. In 2020, z2o opened z2o Project in San Saba, dedicated to site-specific works and artist residencies.
