VAN HORN is an owner run gallery for contemporary art with two locations in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The programm started with shows of iconic creators that hadn't been exhibited in the region: ie R. Crumb or Nicole Eisenman, both in their first solo-shows in Germany. A new generation of artists would follow, which we accompany since years and are taking great care to have them represented in institutional collections. Another part of the programme is to create exhibitions that refer to current themes worldwide. We strive to extend the idea about collecting art and the role of art in a changing society. The gallery's founder is active in the cities cultural politics and hosts her own Podcast "Voices On Art", with 95 Ep. published so far.
