Art Brussels

Robert Grunenberg is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2018 in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Most represented artists belong to the first generation that grew up with the culture of the Internet and digitalisation. They work figuratively with classical materials like painting, drawing, and sculpture, often referencing craft, folk art, and decorative arts in a queer or feminist context. The gallery program explores the relationship between civilisation and nature, gender, mythology and identity. The artists engage with materials intuitively and physically, aiming for an open, inclusive, and contemporary practice.
