Art Brussels

Founded in 2015 in Rome’s San Lorenzo district, Matèria is a contemporary art gallery committed to supporting the research and growth of its represented artists. The gallery presents four exhibitions annually, often site-specific and developed closely with the artists. Matèria values experimentation and critical dialogue, both in its programming and through participation in Italian and international art fairs. The gallery represents the work of Fabio Barile, Karen Knorr, Mario Cresci, Chen Xiaoyi, Giuseppe De Mattia, Sunil Gupta, Marta Mancini, Joachim Lenz, Francisca Valador, Stefano Canto, Bekhbaatar Enkhtur, and Maïmouna Guerresi.
