Art Brussels

Founded in 1995, MARUANI MERCIER represents 27 contemporary artists while presenting museum-quality historical exhibitions and supporting major artist estates. The gallery fosters dialogue between generations, combining established figures with emerging talent, and collaborates with leading scholars on publications. Its programme evolved from a focus on influential American artists of the 1980s to a diverse roster addressing themes of history, identity, politics, and memory across media, including AI-assisted practices. Expanding its activities, the gallery runs residencies at THE WAREHOUSE and has strengthened its Brussels presence with new spaces and facilities. Since 2018, it has operated as a carbon-neutral gallery.
