Porcelaine et faits divers, the duo’s first museum exhibition in Belgium, offers a retrospective, immersive journey where art converses with humanity’s darkest drives. Throughout the show, Bachelot & Caron summon forgotten myths, debauched banquets, unsettling images and hybrid forms. Through photography, ceramics and performance, their universe is as fascinating as it is disquieting. Crime becomes opera, cruelty takes on a festive air, and (dark) humour runs through each scene, laying reality bare.
