House of Chappaz was founded in July 2021 as an evolution of Espai Tactel, established in 2011 in Valencia by Ismaël Chappaz, with a second space opening in Barcelona in 2018, directed by Oriol Armengou and Ferran Mitjans. At the end of 2021, the project took a step forward to consolidate a stronger gallery, expanding its scope, team, and reach while maintaining the essence of the original project. From 2024, House of Chappaz focuses all efforts on a single stable headquarters in Barcelona, under a three-way co-direction, bringing new knowledge, strength, and greater visibility. House Of Chappaz is part of ART BARCELONA, Association of Galleries of Barcelona and also of the Consortium of Spanish Galleries.
