15—18.04.27 Brussels Expo
Founded by Hilario Galguera and Rosa María Ortega, Galería Hilario Galguera opened in Mexico City in 2006, debuting with a solo exhibition by Damien Hirst. Since then, it has promoted Mexican and international contemporary artists whose work is defined by conceptual, social, political, and formal complexity, as well as aesthetic rigor. The gallery emphasizes public, editorial, and institutional projects to foster meaningful engagement with audiences.
Now operating in Mexico City and Madrid, the gallery also develops public, editorial, and institutional projects to foster meaningful engagement. In 2010, Hilario Galguera conceived El cuarto de máquinas, a platform for experimental and independent projects.
