Since 2010 Freijo Gallery has been working with artists from different generations, of Spanish and Latin American origin, whose work is characterised by experimentation, formal and aesthetic rigour, as well as conceptual proposals, including sound art.
In addition to representing mid-career artists, with the intention of underlining the importance of intergenerational links in a dynamic and active way, we work with collections of work by historical artists, who were represented by the gallery, and whose works we at times produced.
Since 2019, we have been developing the LZ46 programme, focused on experimental curatorial projects, with the aim of exploring different ways of approaching exhibition practices as a gallery.
