Art Brussels

Based in Paris, the Christophe Person Gallery represents artists from Africa and its diaspora whose work contributes to the global history of art through distinctive perspectives shaped by personal narratives. In June 2025, the gallery expanded internationally with the opening of a space in Brussels at Galerie Rivoli. Christophe Person’s vision has been shaped through extensive travel across the African continent. Since 2016, he has redefined the auction format through curated sales highlighting the diversity of African creativity. Rejecting trend-driven aesthetics he supports rigorous artistic practices. Alongside photographer Nyaba Léon Ouédraogo, he is co-founder and co-president of BISO, the Ouagadougou International Sculpture Biennale.
