Caicoya Gallery has its origins in 1916, when the family established its first space dedicated to cultural and artistic practice in Oviedo, Spain. Building on more than a century of family heritage, the gallery today functions as a platform for contemporary art, marked by a strong commitment to dialogue, and the sustained support of artists.
Its program combines the exhibition of established artists with emerging and experimental practices, reflecting its long trajectory. Alongside projects conceived specifically for the gallery—such as Paloma Gámez’s conceptual explorations, Cuco Suárez’s site-specific interventions, and Tom Benson’s material investigations—Caicoya has also presented works by other artists like Plágaro, Amador, Galano
