BARBÉ opened its first space in Ghent in 2018, transforming an old horse stable and garage into two exhibition spaces. In 2021, a third space was added (totaling 150 sq.m.), followed by a second location in the Baudelostraat (105 sq.m.) in 2023, near the first in the Penitentenstraat.
The gallery represents both emerging and established international artists, supporting them through curated exhibitions, publications, and collaborations with other galleries. In addition to its two permanent spaces, BARBÉ organizes exhibitions at various locations to further expand the reach of its artists.
