Art Brussels

Axel Vervoordt Gallery was founded in 2011 in Antwerp, Belgium by Boris Vervoordt to be a platform dedicated to presenting the work of contemporary artists through relevant exhibitions, rigorous curatorial scholarship, and in depth publications. Established on principles of transnational perspectives and seeking common artistic links between East and West, the gallery’s global view led to the expansion in 2014 of a location in Hong Kong. The gallery currently represents 30 artists, including emerging and established artists, as well as artist’s estates. The gallery’s identity is characterized by curiosity, evolution, and a belief that artists and their work help us to better understand the world and times we live in.
