22.48 m² is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to emerging artists, founded in 2010 by Rosario Caltabiano. Its name refers to the size of its first exhibition space in Belleville, Paris, a modest venue that fostered experimentation.
In 2023, the gallery moved to Romainville and joined the KOMUNUMA project, alongside other galleries and institutions such as the FRAC Île-de-France Reserves and the Fiminco Foundation. Remaining true to its original spirit, 22.48 m² showcases diverse artistic practices, from painting to digital art, and organises performances, talks and workshops. The gallery regularly participates in major international art fairs.
