Prime

This section is dedicated to contemporary and modern galleries showcasing established or mid-career artists with an international profile. The fair encourages visually compelling curatorial presentations.

Discovery

For recent creations by emerging international artists. This section features either a solo presentation or a compelling dialogue between two artists who are not yet widely known in the European art scene—offering true discoveries for collectors.

'68 Forward

Since the founding of Art Brussels in 1968, contemporary art has evolved through diversity, experimentation, and the breaking of traditional boundaries. ’68 Forward is a section dedicated to these varied artistic movements, offering a platform for both established artists and those who have remained under the radar

Solo

Enhance your Prime or ’68 Forward booth with a dedicated Solo presentation. To qualify for the Solo section, galleries must propose a project-based presentation featuring one living artist. The project should offer a focused and in-depth reflection on the artist’s practice, with an emphasis on ambition and experimentation. Site-specific works are encouraged.

New section! Horizons

This section offers galleries the opportunity to present a large-scale project by one artist that goes beyond the traditional booth format in both scale and ambition. These groundbreaking works push boundaries and help shape new horizons, inviting viewers to look beyond the familiar and explore fresh perspectives. The selected projects will be showcased together in Hall 6, within a specially designed exhibition setting created by internationally renowned curators who will also oversee the selection process.

–  Nele Verhaeren, Managing Director

“We’re very pleased with the energy and attendance of the fair. It’s been a pleasure to welcome such a strong mix of engaged collectors, both from the vibrant local scene and from abroad. We’ve had great conversations with familiar faces as well as with many new collectors discovering our program.”

– Gwenvael Launay, Partner and Brussels Gallery Director Almine Rech (Brussels), about Art Brussels 2025

“I found Art Brussels 2025 to be an excellent fair: perfectly suited to Belgium and Brussels. I saw many happy people, a lot of good and affordable art, and a lot of enthusiasm and passion from both local and international collectors as well as gallerists. The organisation of the fair was also top! So, on to the next edition.”

– Joost Vanhaerents, Vanhaerents Art Collection

“For its 41st edition, Art Brussels reaffirms its unique position among major European art fairs: bold without arrogance, cutting-edge without being exclusionary, it maintains a distinct identity, firmly rooted in the Belgian art ecosystem while radiating internationally.”

– Gwennaëlle Gribaumont, La Libre, April 2025

“Top local key players are the assets of an art fair. Art Brussels, too, will always remain anchored in the region: for foreign visitors, that makes the experience unique. Otherwise, wouldn’t all art fairs be interchangeable?”

– Boris Vervoordt, Axel Vervoordt Gallery (Wijnegem, Hong Kong), in De Standaard, April 2024

“By the close of Sunday, most of the works in the booth were sold… Perhaps more importantly, we met many new people who seemed to deeply resonate with T.R. Ericsson’s work and practice. These included curators, scholars, and publishers, as well as private collectors and foundations. I found the overall quality of the fair and visitors a visible improvement from the last few editions.”

– Harlan Levey, Harlan Levey Projects (Brussels), about Art Brussels 2024

“Art Brussels remains among the most popular art fairs in Europe in terms of the quality of the offer, but also for an interesting base of collectors in the area. With a long-standing tradition for more established and rather cultured art, but also attentive, open-minded and curious in the discovery and purchase of lesser-known, younger and more experimental research.”

– Cristina Masturzo in Artribune, April 2024

“Art Brussels has orchestrated a selection and programme worthy of its 40th edition. The network of collectors based in Brussels has always been very lively, and the exhibition has always been approachable, with the right blend of casualness and high standards.”

– Joseph Kouli, French collector, about Art Brussels 2024.
