15—18.04.27 Brussels Expo
The Prime section brings together contemporary and modern galleries presenting works by established and mid-career artists with an international profile, highlighting significant voices from the international art scene.
The Solo section features booths dedicated to the work of a single established or mid-career artist. Dispersed throughout the fair, these presentations offer visitors the opportunity to engage more deeply with an individual artistic practice.
The Discovery section brings together galleries that actively support emerging international artists. Booths feature either a single-artist presentation or a dialogue between two artists who are not yet widely known in the European context, and whose practices represent a genuine discovery for collectors.
’68 Forward is a section dedicated to artistic practices from 1968 to 2000. Since the inception of Art Brussels in 1968, contemporary art has been shaped by remarkable diversity, experimentation, and a departure from traditional conventions. This section celebrates that rich period by offering a platform to both established artists and those whose work has remained under-recognised.
This section offers galleries the opportunity to present a large-scale project by one artist that goes beyond the traditional booth format in both scale and ambition. These groundbreaking works push boundaries and help shape new horizons, inviting viewers to look beyond the familiar and explore fresh perspectives. The selected projects will be showcased together in Hall 6, within a specially designed exhibition setting created by an internationally renowned curator who will also oversee the selection process.
