Join us for a conversation between Moleskine Foundation CEO, Adama Sanneh, and Danaë​​​​ Vermeulen, Curator D’Ieteren Gallery, as we explore the Moleskine Foundation Collection and D’Ieteren’s support for the Creativity for Social Change mission. The discussion will delve into the shared heritage that both the brand and the Foundation carry forward through the Collection, where creativity is understood as a powerful force for transforming individuals and communities. 

About the Speakers: 

Adama Sanneh
Adama Sanneh is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Moleskine Foundation. Adama brings a unique hybrid background in management and cultural studies to his work designing and building innovative organisations able to generate social impact.
Adama graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the University of Milan, obtained a Master in Public Management (MPM) from the Bocconi School of Management and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Geneva. After graduating, he worked as a management and strategy consultant for various public and not-for-profit organizations among which the United Nations, in education, social entrepreneurship, and innovation.
As the CEO of the Moleskine Foundation, he is committed to explore and leverage the intersection of business, education, culture, and social development to create new and meaningful public value.

Danaë​​​​ Vermeulen
Danaë Vermeulen holds a degree in Art History and Archaeology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, followed by a postgraduate qualification in Culture and Arts Management at Universiteit van Gent. She later pursued a Master’s in Museum Studies at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. With a longstanding interest in private art collections, she worked as a curator at the HeadquARTers of Katoen Natie for three years. Since joining the D’Ieteren Gallery, she has been responsible for the museum and its collections, focusing on their preservation, research, and the promotion of the history of the D’Ieteren Group.
