23—26.04.26 Brussels Expo
Friday 24 April
12 – 12:50 PM at the Tribune.
Talk with Timothy Broos (Director Belgian Branch, Hiscox Benelux), Björn Deleu (Private Banker, Delen Private Bank), Oliver Lenaerts (Specialist in Art and Business Law) & François Toussaint (Co-founder of Objectory).
Works of art, collectibles, jewellery, family archives… Valuable objects occupy an increasingly important place within personal wealth, at the crossroads of emotional, cultural and financial value. Yet their management often remains fragmented: incomplete inventories, scattered information, insufficient legal or insurance protection.
This conference offers a cross-disciplinary and very practical perspective on a key question: how can we take care of valuable objects throughout their entire lifecycle, in the same way we do with any other patrimonial asset?
Through the contributions of four professionals with complementary expertise, the discussion will address: the legal structuring, transmission and safeguarding of valuable objects, their integration into a broader wealth management strategy, insurance issues, risk coverage and traceability, and new technological solutions enabling secure, structured, and long-term inventories.
An accessible and pragmatic conversation aimed at collectors, art lovers, families, wealth advisors and art market professionals who wish to better understand how to protect, organise and pass on what truly holds value — in the broadest sense of the word.
