REVELATIONS presents 3 photographers exploring the intimacy of people and cities through their unique and very personal spectrum and extremely different techniques. Gregory Van Bellinghen (Bel) uses generous colors and chromatic rhythms to explore Tokyo and its trains. For his very first exhibition in Europe, Kimio Itozaki (Japan) invites us on a radical new construction and deconstruction photographic voyage directly involving the Art collector. Stéphane Noël (Bel) masters the ancient gum printing process to explore the end of anything. He leaves us with one of a kind black & white pictures & portraits. The setting is a unique Beaux-Arts Mansion hiding the purest “Eclectic” interior which opens its door for you just once.

From February 3rd, 2023, the Atomium invites the Visual System artist collective to occupy its exhibition spaces and dedicates its program to digital art. RESTART, a temporary exhibition, and CENTRALE, a permanent installation, will depict the Atomium in light and sound. With these projects, the magic of the Atomium is brought to life and the heritage richness of the building accentuated. The artists give life to a total work that immerses the visitor in the heart of a synesthetic trail, as spectacular as it is hypnotic. An invitation to explore, surrender and experience an intense interaction. By creating this intimate moment, Visual System poetizes light, sound and architecture through abstract narrative and pure emotion.

“A length without a width”
Eric Baudart’s approach is similar to that of the “flâneur” artist as defined by Baudelaire in The Painter of Modern Life (1863): “[artist] of circumstance and of all that it suggests of eternity”. Baudart pays particular attention to the objects and detritus of post-industrial urban life. With a few simple gestures such as the application of a color, a punctual deformation, or simply the displacement of the object from its environment and its integration into the artistic space, the sculptor reveals the aesthetic and poetic potential of these elements.

With My Homies, Arnaud Eubelen questions what the essence of a household is. Homies are not only close friends but also the objects around which we gather. In other words, the home is less about the walls that delimit the space than the objects that occupy it.
